Hybrid Installation – Plumbed Recommended

The Hybrid Head Spa Bed has been designed to give salons maximum flexibility, allowing the unit to be operated either professionally plumbed or as a free-standing non-plumbed system.

Plumbed Installation (Recommended)

For the best Japanese Head Spa experience, we strongly recommend connecting the unit to your mains water supply.

When professionally plumbed, you’ll enjoy the full functionality of the unit, including:

Using both the shower head and Halo Water System allows therapists to perform treatments exactly as intended while providing the most luxurious experience for clients.

Non-Plumbed Operation

If your salon doesn’t have access to plumbing, the Hybrid Unit can still be operated using its advanced heated Halo Water System.

The innovative Halo continuously recirculates warm water by drawing water from the basin through an internal filter, high-performance water pump and built-in water heater before returning it through the Halo. This creates a gentle waterfall effect that comfortably rinses the scalp and hair while maintaining a consistent water temperature throughout the treatment.

Important Information

When the unit is operated without plumbing, the handheld shower head will NOT function, as it requires a direct mains water connection.

The Halo Water System has been specifically designed to effectively rinse treatment products from the hair without relying on continuous use of the shower head, making the unit an excellent solution where plumbing isn’t available.

However, if your salon has access to plumbing, we highly recommend installing the unit as a plumbed system to enjoy full functionality and provide the complete Japanese Head Spa experience your clients expect.

To keep your unit performing at its best, regular maintenance is essential. We recommend cleaning the filter frequently and servicing the water pump and heater periodically to prevent hair and debris from entering the circulation system, helping extend the lifespan of your equipment.

Water is drawn from the basin, passed through an integrated filtration system before flowing through the water pump and heater, then returned through the Halo to create a relaxing curtain of warm water across the scalp.
